Purpose of the role:

This position will drive, and further the aims set out in the claims vision: "_to continually push the boundaries of customer excellence through an empowered, collaborative and innovative approach to claims; to be the envy of the market_", always demonstrating and upholding the Canopius claims values

Main Responsibilities:

  • Report to Claims Manager on claims handling (all lines) and proactively providing administrative assistance to the team as well.
  • Actively look into better ways of doing things and to suggest process or other enhancements, where appropriate.
  • Contribute to project work, when required.
  • To develop a thorough understanding of the underwriting and claims portfolio across the classes of business.
  • To be the main contact point between WNS and the other internal stakeholders on the administrative tasks
  • To assist in information exchange with Underwriters
  • To support with liaison on tasks that involve the Finance function
  • To execute instructions in accordance with the Canopius Claims Manual, ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met, and that controls are operating effectively by achieving KPIs.
  • To analysis and draw quantitative reporting e.g., running reports on systems or answering queries related to systems' generated reports.
  • To attend technical meetings regarding any updates/processes with regards to Canopius' internal systems

Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency in Excel;
  • Display excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills;
  • Experience in claims handling
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Enjoy working with numbers; and
  • Good problemsolving Skills
  • Customer focused and understanding service deliver
  • Work collaboratively and be a team player
