The (Function/Dept) Team

Okta is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to identify potential accounts and create opportunities that drive demand for our sales team.

The Senior SDR role is an excellent chance to kick off your career in sales and marketing at Okta and contribute to the demand for our cutting-edge cloud adoption and management solution. We are looking for a curious and driven individual with strong organizational, detail-oriented, and communication skills. A successful candidate is adaptable, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to embark on a career in Sales and Marketing.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prospect for new business opportunities through outreach initiatives.
  • Assess, nurture, and cultivate inbound leads from specific target accounts.
  • Create sales-ready meetings and opportunities for the Account Executives.
  • Research contacts and drive demand through call and email campaigns.
  • Apply active listening skills to discover customer needs and business objectives.
  • Consistently achieve targets by reaching call, email, and meeting objectives.
  • Collaborate with other team members to advance deals.
  • Participate in both physical and digital marketing events to represent the xDR Organization.
  • Utilize and maintain SaaS tools to ensure data accuracy.
  • Meet and exceed monthly quota for qualified opportunities.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Prior corporate or business exposure, preferably in inside sales/lead generation.
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa (reading, writing & speaking).
  • Highly motivated, self-starting, and driven individual.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Understanding of customer needs and delivering successful product sales accordingly.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.
