ABOUT THE ROLE AND THE COMPANY

  • JOB TITLE: ITTF Director of Operations
  • COMPANY LOCATION: Asia Pacific – Singapore. Candidates must be flexible with working hours to accommodate the nature of this role.
  • REPORTING TO: ITTF Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • ITTF Operations Management: Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
    Collaborate on event planning and execution, ensuring adherence to international standards.
    Enhance communication and streamline processes across departments.
  • ITTF Finance Management: Oversee the Finance Department, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.
    Manage budgeting processes in collaboration with the CEO.
    Monitor financial performance and instigate corrective measures as needed.
    Implement financial controls to safeguard assets and provide analysis for decision-making.
    Lead fundraising efforts to support federation initiatives through sponsorships and grants.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to strategic planning and growth initiatives.
    Identify opportunities for organizational improvement and competitiveness.
    Stay abreast of industry trends to bolster the federation's innovative edge.
  • Legal Oversight: Ensure compliance across all operational activities.
    Handle legal matters and partnerships to mitigate risks.
    Collaborate with legal advisors to address legal issues effectively.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational, financial, and legal risks.
    Develop risk management protocols to ensure continuity.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders.
    Represent the federation at various functions and collaborate on enhancing public image.
    Partner with marketing teams for effective communication strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or relevant field (Master's preferred).
  • 7-10 years of experience in operations and financial management.
  • Proven track record in financial management, compliance, and reporting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of sports-related legal aspects.
  • Effective leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and crisis management abilities.
  • Proficient in financial software and MS Office tools.
  • Passion for table tennis and sports management knowledge is advantageous.
