About the role:

The incumbent will provide support to the Sustainability Team in implementing sustainability projects throughout the company's operations by offering assistance and insights. This 6-month full-time internship is set to begin in July/August 2024.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead and execute sustainability projects focusing on areas like renewable energy, facilities, and energy monitoring
  • Undertake research on current sustainability trends and innovations relevant to the logistics industry
  • Assist in Scope 1 & 2 monthly reporting
  • Monitor energy consumption and oversee warehouse energy management
  • Support energy-saving initiatives and enhance facilities management processes
  • Create and develop communication materials for both internal and external audiences
  • Help with other tasks related to CSR engagement (e.g., on-site biodiversity activities)

Requirements

The ideal candidate:

  • Presently enrolled in a Polytechnic or University, pursuing coursework related to Sustainable Facilities and/or Built Management
  • Demonstrates a deep passion, keen interest, and profound understanding of sustainability topics and principles
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Platform
  • Possesses a flair for design and crafting communication materials
  • Capable team player with a knack for working independently
  • Strong communication skills
  • Eager to explore and acquire new knowledge
