Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sustainability Intern to join our team at Marina Bay Sands. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our efforts to reduce waste and promote sustainable practices across our integrated resort.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of waste management projects, including data analysis and stakeholder engagement.
- Support the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives, such as waste reduction and recycling programs.
- Conduct research and provide recommendations on best practices in sustainability and waste management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for sustainability improvements and develop strategies to achieve them.
- Assist in the development and implementation of sustainability awareness programs for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Must be from related academic disciplines in Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, or Project and Facilities Management.
- Possess passion, knowledge, and drive to create a more sustainable world.
- Ability to analyze data and articulate business value of sustainability.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work within a diverse team.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, and at least one other language.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
