Roles & Responsibilities

ROLE

This role is based at the Singapore Saint Laurent Office, reporting directly to the General Manager, Southeast Asia & Oceania. It involves leading the retail team and overseeing all retail stores in Southeast Asia. Key responsibilities include setting KPIs and guidelines for Store Directors, fostering a positive work environment, formulating strategies, and executing business development plans to drive sales and profits.

MISSION

Business Management

  • Implementing the strategic retail plan and devising customer strategies for the markets.
  • Developing monthly/annual sales forecasts, setting achievable targets, and optimizing P&L planning.
  • Monitoring operational records and market trends to enhance profitability.
  • Ensuring the retail team maintains strong customer relations and implements clienteling strategies for customer loyalty.
  • Providing regular insightful reports to senior management on sales performance, store activities, and key issues.

Brand Promoter

  • Being a brand ambassador internally and externally, promoting the brand culture.
  • Instilling and promoting Retail Excellence culture across all stores in the network.
  • Evaluating market opportunities and supporting new stores' project management.
  • Staying informed about retail industry trends, customer initiatives, and competitor activities.
  • Ensuring excellent handling of all customer feedback by the retail team.

Talent Management

  • Cultivating a high-performance culture within the retail teams through coaching and team development.
  • Attracting, recruiting, motivating, and retaining retail talents.
  • Tracking KPI achievements, providing feedback, training, and action plans for team performance.

Retail Operations

  • Collaborating with corporate functions to support store operations and business plans.
  • Ensuring store staff compliance with corporate standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Implementing global guidelines, rules, systems, processes at store level.
  • Managing daily store operations covering sales, expense control, staff management, inventory, security, and safety.

PROFILE

  • Minimum 10 years of retail experience, preferably in fashion retail.
  • Strong knowledge of the luxury market.
  • Proficient in managing retail P&L with a strategic and results-oriented approach.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
