Regional Network Technical Lead

  • Lead the design and evolution of our regional network infrastructure, ensuring alignment with our central strategy and policies.
  • Architect and supervise the deployment of enterprise-level network hardware, including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points from leading manufacturers.
  • Serve as the primary network contact for entities within the region, both existing and new members of our shared office spaces.
  • Conduct proactive analysis of network traffic and performance to pinpoint and address bottlenecks or potential security threats.
  • Develop and execute network security strategies in close collaboration with security teams to safeguard critical assets.
  • Manage Network Inventories and maintain the readiness of critical equipment warranties/maintenance across the network.
  • Create and uphold comprehensive network documentation, change management protocols, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Lead network troubleshooting initiatives, mentor team members, and conduct in-depth root cause analysis for complex issues.
  • Act as the regional network expert for the central network team, particularly for the Singapore Telco node, potentially extending to other Asian and global nodes.
  • Handle on-site operations for the Singapore Telco Node on behalf of the central network team.
  • Coordinate network-related projects for the Singapore Telco Node, preparing configurations and collaborating with vendors and central teams for successful execution.
  • Ensure regional adherence to network standards set by the central team and communicate new network topics from regional entities to the central team.
About you
  • A minimum of 10 years' in-depth experience in network administration, including roles involving leadership or mentorship.
  • Expertise in network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.), network security principles, and firewall technologies (Cisco/Huawei Routers, Switches, Meraki MX/MS, FortiGate, Palo Alto Networks).
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills capable of swiftly resolving intricate network disruptions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, effective with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in a multinational and complex organizational setting, working across diverse teams.
  • Customer-focused approach with a commitment to problem-solving and continuous service enhancement.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks effectively, and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in leading P1/P2 Incidents to aid in the resolution of network incidents.
