Here you are supported, celebrated, and can thrive.Position OverviewThe CFO & COO plays a crucial leadership role reporting to the Chief Financial Officer International Finance and being accountable to the President APAC. This role involves coordinating the strategic planning and development of the APAC businesses, including networks, streaming, content licensing, and consumer products, aligning them with the global Theatrical vision and ambitions.The CFO & COO is responsible for financial management, analysis, and reporting of the APAC businesses, providing strategic insights, and driving operational excellence and efficiency. A key leader for the President APAC, this role partners with the APAC management team and global functions to support business development, M&A activities, and operational coordination.Key ResponsibilitiesChief Financial Officer
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business and take ownership of APAC's financial results
  • Provide unbiased partnership for pursuing and executing business opportunities efficiently
  • Derive strategic and financial insights from innovative analytics
  • Work collaboratively within a cross-functional APAC leadership team to achieve financial targets
  • Conduct monthly financial reviews and performance analysis of APAC businesses
  • Drive results through strategic priorities and operational initiatives execution
  • Lead and develop a high-performing Finance team
  • Maintain robust operational and long-term models with associated analytics
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning for APAC businesses
  • Enhance WBD's capabilities through close collaboration with corporate FP&A and accounting teams
Chief Operational Officer
  • Collaborate with President APAC to outline a clear strategic plan for the business and consumer offering
  • Execute key strategic priorities and operational initiatives to drive efficiencies and growth in the APAC region
  • Play a leadership role in business development and collaborate closely with Commercial Strategy and Corporate Development for growth opportunities
  • Lead and coordinate inter-dependencies with WBD's global functions

  • Revenue, Costs, AOIBDA & Free Cash Flow related to APAC
  • Shared KPIs: Advertising and Affiliate Distribution Revenue, Content Sales Revenue, Cost, AOIBDA, Free Cash Flow, Streaming Revenue, Subscriber Acquisition, Churn/Retention, SAC, and some costs
Profile (The essentials)
  • Extensive experience in financial management, analysis and reporting, and business planning with strong strategic, analytical, and finance skills
  • Prior experience leading FP&A and teams developing strategic insights in a consumer-facing, digital business
  • Media business experience, including streaming
  • Ambitious mindset with a drive to succeed
  • Project management experience handling diverse operational projects from start to finish
  • Experience in corporate development and growth strategies, both organic and inorganic
  • Proficient in data-based decision-making and KPI management
  • Capable of connecting with various groups - charismatic and engaging
  • Strong leadership qualities - enjoys mentoring, connecting, and inspiring others
  • Strong proficiency in the English language
