My client, a leading global technology company. This is a 6-month contract position.

Summary:
As an L&D Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the organization's learning and development efforts. Your responsibilities will include assessing needs, designing, developing, and delivering various learning initiatives. You will lead the development of training practices to ensure effective learning experiences for all.

Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging and resultsdriven learning activities using established instructional design theories, practices, and methods.
  • Develop and maintain a wide range of learning solutions to cater to diverse learners, including instructorled training, videos, online courses, quick reference guides, job aids, and performance support materials.
  • Prepare design documents, storyboards, scripts, media lists, and assessment tools to guide the development process.
  • Transform written content into visual descriptions, such as graphics, animations, interactive charts, graphs, and videobased scenarios, ensuring accuracy and suitability.
  • Manage projects efficiently, defining scope, engaging key stakeholders, and implementing the RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) framework.
  • Conduct pilot sessions and trainthetrainer sessions to facilitate successful course implementations.
  • Analyze learning needs and recommend appropriate learning experiences to bridge performance gaps.
  • Regularly report progress and the effectiveness of training and learning initiatives to the L&D Manager.

Skills:

  • Proficient in adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies, including ADDIE, Gagne, Bloom's Taxonomy, 5 Moments of Need, and 6 Boxes.
  • Ability to transform complex information into easily understandable text and graphics.
  • Experience in designing and developing policy training programs.
  • Skilled in creating Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) and Blended Learning solutions.
  • Proficiency in elearning authoring tools like Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate 360, Vyond, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional approach.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, including prioritization, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines.

Education/Experience:

years of instructional design experience, including developing on-demand eLearning and performance support materials.
