Reporting to Regional FP&A Director, you are responsible for driving Productivity in ASEAN region working closely with the finance team and Business stakeholders in various countries in identifying, prioritising and partnering with country and global teams enabling the delivery of productivity targets.


The role will include reviewing the various cost lines of the P&L, benchmarking them among countries and regions, reviewing along with the business partners the ROI of various types of investments and helping drive performance improvement.


In addition, the manager prepares the monthly Productivity deck for the region, reports the same to the CHQ team with a detailed commentary and value drivers and the various impacts.


She/He will prepare ad-hoc reports supporting the regional business stakeholders to track and monitor the KPI achievement against year-end target set.

This person also needs to work closely with Global Counterparts to drive and deliver business change and transformation programs.


You will own the deployment of various productivity projects within the Finance function across the countries in the region, support them in building a solid understanding of the Finance operating model and global business processes, and help the local and regional team to simplify and harmonize the policies & procedures as well as reporting processes.


Responsibilities:

Month-End / Budgeting & Forecasting Planning/ LV / Business Reviews

  • Ensure submission deadlines from markets within ASEAN for monthly productivity results (Plan / ACTUALS / LV), forecast and plan are met and with quality commentaries.
  • Facilitate necessary discussions on reporting issues which put delivery within deadlines at risk.
  • Prepare monthend/ Productivity financials which is required in a short time frame with high level of accuracy.
  • Provide high quality support to the management as well as other functional teams during preparation for Business Reviews with Area and other adhoc meetings.
  • Provide insightful analysis on the financials and suggest implications on business performance.

Business Partnering with Different Business Stakeholders

  • Lead the process for identifying, prioritising the productivity projects for relevant regional leaders in ASEAN, partner with them to define and monitor appropriate metrices, track and report results against goals.
  • Develop financial reports for business stakeholders and group reporting.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to Business to understand ROI, profitability, metrices, impact of various actions.

Business Readiness and Change Management

  • Work with regional and global leaders to develop a strong pipeline of productivity ideas for the future, including financial automation projects, development of KPI dashboards and enabling building a competitive mindset in the countries
  • Act as an advocate for change management and embed the new ways of working in the countries.
  • Facilitate best practice sharing across the countries and regions.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance or Accounting, CA/ ACCA or equivalent.
  • At least 810 years proven work experience within Finance/Accounting.
  • Experience of working within a multinational environment/ FMCG industry preferred.
  • Microsoft Office literacy essential (strong excel skills in data compilation and aggregation, e.g. sumifs, indirect function, pivot table, v/h lookup, etc.)
  • SAP, BPC, JDE, HFM, Fusion, Cognos knowledge desirable.
