Job Description

This role is tasked to drive the business growth and development aspect of the Singapore Business Unit (SG BU) Strategy and to dominate Singapore market. To build an integrated and synergize go to market products across SG BU, with key strategy to leverage on SG BU strength in infrastructure and extensive PUDO and delivery network the lightweight segment across marketplace, brands, merchants, trade lanes cross borders and inbounds.
To create a business operating model for SG BU for the ease to do business in order to drive faster customer acquisition and growth in share of wallet while providing a best-in-class customer experience. Co-create the SG BU Strategy. Responsible to support the CEO SG BU to develop and drive the SG BU strategy for the short and medium term based on a strong understanding of the domestic SG ecommerce and logistics market, government needs and national agenda. To drive the achievement of the SG BU strategy to dominate the SG market with 75% of the market share. Drive the overall P&L for entire SG BU. Responsible for driving the growth of SG business topline revenue year on year, in accordance to the SG BU Strategy. Drive the product development and pricing strategy for the SG business by bringing together insights from sales team, operations and product to drive pipeline development and leads generation for the sales team to hunt and convert. Recognise new markets and to build relationships with key players in these markets to develop go to market strategies to generate new revenue opportunities. To set the annual revenue growth targets and strategies and drive SG Sales team to build pipelines and realised the agreed revenues. Product and Business Development. Drive the market analysis and intelligence and develop products and solutions for both B2C and B2B segments of the market. Drive discussions with sales, ops and product team to grow and acquire key accounts and explore business solutions and products to continually grow share of wallet with existing customers. Align the product development to support the achievement of SG BU and sustainability strategy. Develop the right pricing strategy and modelling to be the most competitive in market. Drive the transformation for ease of business across the entire customer journey in order to facilitate new revenue generation. Philatelic, Retail and Marketing . Drive coherent marketing strategy and plan for the FY that supports both commercial, brands and retail (includes overall programme for national stamp issues and expanding the reach of philatelic and retail offerings in the community). Drive the product marketing for SG BU to push for greater public awareness of SingPost offerings and transformation journey. Using both the physical and social media space to actively engage with the public as well as customers on our products and offerings. Financial Services. Responsible for the partnership and sales management for financial services with a focus to grow the bancassurance business. Develop the customer lead acquisition strategy with FS partners and to grow topline revenue year on year. Drive higher awareness of product offerings. People Development & Culture. Build a competent team via coaching, mentoring and providing guidance. Inculcate SingPost values as part of our DNA and continuous training to upskill and drive a high performing team. Drive collaboration and cohesiveness within the smaller and wider team.

Requirements

15 years of relevant experience in product and business development with responsibility of P&L at least $100m. In-depth understanding of logistic and e-commerce is advantageous Proven track record of successful product and sales management, and business development Strong analytical and business acumen with a demonstrated track record in understanding critical business & financial information Excellent organisation, communication and team management skills Have a strong sense of urgency and accountability Strong relationship building, interpersonal and influencing skills Have a positive attitude and be able to work under pressure A self-motivated result driven leader
