Join us as a Solution Sales Specialist and take on the exciting challenge of expanding Hitachi Vantara's AI & High Performance Data Platforms business in the ASEAN and other APAC regions while collaborating with colleagues globally.

Having a proven track record in Solution Sales is essential, along with a strong understanding of current trends in AI and the essential infrastructure solutions and services needed for successful deployments.

While you will report to the Global Sales Leader - AI & High Performance Data Platforms, you will work closely with teams in the ASEAN & APAC Sales, Presales, and Partner departments on a daily basis.

Success will be determined by your ability to develop a solution pipeline, achieve strategic wins, and meet revenue targets. This role involves regional travel within and outside the ASEAN region.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of AI & High Performance Data Platform opportunities in the ASEAN and other APAC markets.
  • Achieve revenue objectives and other established KPIs, including:
    • Generating and managing pipelines
    • Conducting internal and external awareness and enablement activities
    • Engaging and nurturing partnerships
  • Ensure market needs are effectively communicated and understood at a global level.
  • Actively contribute to the global team by sharing experiences and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in Product/Solution Sales within a high-value, solution-oriented company.
  • Strong Sales knowledge in areas such as High Performance Data Platforms, High-Performance Computing, GPU platforms, and Object Storage Solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, adaptable to various audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple engagements with attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and capable of working effectively in a virtual, global team environment.
  • Quick learner with the ability to grasp new technologies and solutions.
  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science/Engineering) preferred.
