Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Issuing policy contracts and endorsements;
  • Handling policy adjustments and member movements;
  • Calculating premiums and managing experience refunds;
  • Ensuring timely issuance of tax invoices, endorsements, and medical cards;
  • Communicating with clients and agents regarding employee benefits inquiries through various channels;
  • Introducing digital solutions to promote digitization to clients and agents;
  • Dealing with escalations independently and proposing effective resolutions;
  • Ensuring accurate record entries and proper documentation;
  • Participating in projects to enhance operational efficiency, review processes, and drive improvements;
  • Participating in User Acceptance Testing before system changes deployment;
  • Maintaining department records and managing endorsements;
  • Administering data for necessary reports tracking department progress;
  • Providing administrative support and handling assigned ad-hoc tasks by Team Lead;
  • Assessing business and regulatory compliance risks and taking necessary risk mitigation steps;
  • Staying updated on industry trends related to regulatory compliance and potential risks;
  • Highlighting potential concerns/risks and sharing best risk management practices proactively.

Requirements:

  • Hold a degree from a recognized institution;
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in insurance administration/business processing preferred;
  • Experience in processing group insurance policies would be advantageous;
  • Excellent time management, analytical skills, attention to detail, and proactive approach;
  • Driven by tasks and results, and a strong team player.
