**Purpose of the role

TEAM LEWIS is seeking an experienced and strategic People Manager for our APAC region, to be based in our Singapore Headquarter's office.

Reporting to the People Director, APAC, this role will cover Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Beijing, and Sydney across all areas related to people.

Separately, we are looking for an individual with a HR background in one or more of the markets to help support on internal initiatives relating to people function.

This is a new role as TEAM LEWIS continues its rapid growth trajectory across our APAC region.

An extremely international opportunity, this role will also form part of the global People/Talent team.

Key responsibilities

  • Talent management _
  • Scale up and refine our people experience to ensure best practices are implemented and establish a great employee journey.
  • Input to and rollout talent initiatives created with the global talent team
  • Promote and help nurture an excellent culture help identify areas that require improvement, making recommendations and actioning accordingly
  • Work on people programs to drive employee engagement and inspire a high performance work culture with employee satisfaction
  • Work closely with the regional & global HR team to ensure all internal initiatives are managed and implemented accordingly.
  • Advise on and monitor/assess salary levels, rewards and benefits in relation to the industry.
  • HR Business Partnering _
  • Develop strong relationships with the APAC senior team to understand and identify human resource and talent needs across, recruiting, retention and succession planning.
  • Maintain knowledge and analyse trends in compensation and benefits, best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies in human resources, talent management and employment law.
  • Provide an effective and dedicated HR advisory service in relation to employee relations matters; manage issues through to resolution
  • Anticipate and investigate people related issues and report on findings with recommendations, taking into account best practice, law, policies and precedent, coach and support management accordingly.
  • Employee relations _

  • Onboarding _
  • Manages the induction process (including relevant documentation) for all new starters in Spain, ensuring a smooth induction into TEAM LEWIS
  • Sends out reminders to line managers for mid and end probationary reviews, flagging any concerns to the HR team
  • Responds to probation period queries in a timely manner, escalating to the broader HR team, where necessary
  • Collate responses and organise face to face check in meetings where necessary, flagging any concerns to the HR team
  • Employee engagement _
  • Oversee (with continual review and enhancement of) the onboarding and induction process for all new starters, ensuring a smooth introduction to TEAMLEWIS
  • Ensure regular feedback sessions with new and existing team members to proactively recommend areas of improvement and ensure consistent engagement
  • Review benefits make recommendations accordingly to ensure competitiveness
  • Contribute to, and rollout, engagement initiatives created with the global HR team
  • Promote and help nurture an excellent culture help identify areas that require improvement, making recommendations and actioning accordingly
  • Reporting, operations, and analysis _
  • Identify useful adhoc reports and/or analysis to help drive people related programmes
  • Be a superuser on the dedicated HR platform with full administrative capabilities; review the system for improvements and ensure that it is being used to its full capacity
  • Ensure regular audits of the server files and HR platform to ensure that all documentation is present and that information is accurate.
  • General _
  • Supports the Global HR team on initiatives and projects
  • Works with the HR team to review and update recruitment policies and procedures
  • Provides uptodate management information and global monthly recruitment reporting
  • Regularly attends LEWIS training sessions to enhance skills and develop knowledge
  • Daytoday, ad hoc and project administrative duties
  • Ensures all record keeping is complete, up to date and accurate
  • Promotes and helps nurture an excellent culture and be an ambassador for the LEWIS brand

  • Strong HR generalist skill set ideal if gained within an international company in a fast moving, dynamic and creative industry e.g. PR, advertising, marketing, broadcast, recruitment
