Our Client is a global market leader as an automotive parts supplier.
Responsibilities:
Monitors and follow up closely with suppliers on delivery allocation to affiliates or subsidiary companies for delivery arrangement and prevention of production line stoppages.
Involves in crisis recovery management activities to mitigate production stoppages due to lack of components through product demand monitoring and allocation of parts.
Provides timely update to relevant stakeholders on supply status and delivery schedule.Prepares inventory reports on usage and planned supply to affected factories aimed at providing the best estimate for line down date.
Perform daily operational tasks such as generating supplier delivery status report, communication with supplier, monitoring delay order conditions, stock allocation planning and administrative support to Operations Team.
Facilitates improvement activities among Procurement & Supply Division.Job Requirements:
Minimum a Diploma qualification in Supply Chain or Logistics is preferred or its equivalent.
Between 3 to 6 years of relevant work experience in supply chain.
Preferably with experience in a trading Buy and Sell environment.
Proficient in MS Office Suites especially MS Excel on Pivot Tables, V-lookup, VBA and Power BI.
Experience using SAP will be an added advantage.
