DESIGNATION :
[McQuilling Energy] Commodity Broker (Korean Speaking)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide broker service to clients on Swap/futures or physical commodities in Fuel oil, Petrochemical, middle distillates products, etc;
  • Interaction with traders and handle negotiations of both parties (buyer and seller) concerned;
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing clients and making contact with potential clients to build new business opportunities;
  • Developing and maintaining a portfolio of customers' contacts and updating changes;
  • Tracking market movements, following the financial news, analyzing and understanding the behavior of trade of oil in the market;
  • Visiting or meeting clients regularly facetoface to create rapport, gather information, and understand their requirements;
  • Entertaining clients for relationship building and networking;
  • Arranging and facilitating the trades done and input transactions into clearing house systems such as ICE, CME, or SGX portals;
  • Onboarding new clients following the correct process with the Operation Team;
  • Learning and understanding the physical cargo broking of petrochemical/fuel oil/bunker products, energy swap/futures business, and how trades are made to facilitate the broking of such aforementioned products.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experienced in energy/commodities broking positions will be an advantage. Those without experience but who have a high enthusiasm and interest in building a career in the energy market are welcome to apply.
  • Able to communicate effectively and efficiently with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Team orientated the ability to work effectively with others.
  • Ability to work effectively in a highpressure and fastpaced environment.
  • Individuals who are highly energetic, motivated, and enjoy doing sales and business development.
  • Strong analytical ability and problemsolving skills.
  • Fluent in English (Written/Oral) and added advantage if multilingua (Chinese/Japanese/Korean) to communicate effectively with Asian counterparts.
