**Job Purpose
The Senior Training Manager assists the Training Director to plan, source and solicit training businesses and contracts.

He / She also assists the Training Director to oversee the administration, co-ordination and conduct of all training businesses and operations.


Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning
  • Develop comprehensive plans for training programs, aligning them with the BU goals and objectives.
  • Source and evaluate potential training businesses and partnerships.
  • Proposal and Project Management
  • Draft and present training proposals, showcasing innovative approaches and methodologies.
  • Lead project presentations, ensuring a compelling and engaging delivery to the client.
  • Prepared detailed and accurate training quotations for client consideration.
  • Course Development
  • Innovate and create new courses, ensuing relevance and alignment with industry regulations and trends.
  • Curate and develop content that meets the highest standards of instructional design.
  • Curriculum and Programme Oversight
  • Regularly review and enhance existing training curricula, programmes, and lesson plans.
  • Drive continuous improvement by incorporating feedback and emerging best practices.
  • Training Safety and Quality
  • Oversee and enforce safety standards in training environments.
  • Ensure the quality of training delivery through robust evaluation and improvement processes.
  • Safety, Security and Governance (SSG) Audit Leadership
  • Lead and coordinate SSG audit for training programs.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Take charge of addressing and closing all comments resulting from audits or assessments.
  • Implement correction actions based on audit findings to continually enhance training programs.
  • Reporting
  • Prepare detailed monthly and quarterly reports on training activities, outcomes and future plans.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis for ongoing improvement.
  • Trainer Welfare Advocacy
  • Champion the wellbeing of trainers by implementing initiatives that prioritize their mental and physical health.
  • Establish support mechanisms, including regular checkins, workshops and resources to enhance trainer satisfaction and performance.

Requirements:

  • Degree in any discipline, preferably training related.
  • Possess ACLP (Advance Certificate in Learning & Performance) qualification.
  • Must be trained in Fire safety, Hazmat & First Aid with minimum of 3 years' experience.
  • Able to work with other departments within COSEM so as to meet company's KPI.
  • Able to speak fluent English and preferably other languages.
  • Willing to travel between our east and west training centres.
**Remuneration Package & Location:

Annual Salary:
Up to $152,000
