Our bar programmes are as critical to the guest experience as our culinary programmes—this role demands a passion for influencing indelible dining experiences as the maestro behind the bar.

You'll be in charge of:

Bar Management

  • Creative development of a both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage offering maximizing profitability
  • Creates drink menus and maintains beverage recipe documentation
  • Manage the beverage stocks and inventories
  • Selects and purchases liquor and other bar supplies
  • Create and maintain a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all customers
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of beverages and food served at the bar
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the bar's offerings, including menu items, new promotions, and events
  • Advertise the daily, weekly and monthly promotions of the bar

Operational Efficiency

  • Identify opportunities for bar revenue growth, cost savings, and implement appropriate measures to achieve financial goals
  • Manage and maintain the bar's financial records, including cash handling, budgeting, and reporting
  • Assisting in the efficient running of the day-to-day bar operations
  • Assisting in the daily beverage operations and ensuring the quality and consistency of all products meet desired standards
  • Uses point-of-sale tracking technology and bar and restaurant management platforms
  • Handle and rectify customer complaints
  • Oversees planning for special events

Training

  • Oversees a team of bartenders, including training employee on menu offerings
  • Determines employees' schedules, monitors costs and maintains budget
  • Oversee team members, including bartenders and barbacks, and, in some cases, bouncers, wait staff, and/or kitchen staff as well
  • Train and supervise the bar team, ensuring they are knowledgeable about products, policies, and procedures
  • Appropriately delegates tasks to team members

Other Duties

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales and customer engagement
  • Ensure team members follow all food control and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as kitchen staff and event planners, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction
