NIE is seeking talented individuals to join us as
Assistant Manager, Continuing Education and Training (CET)
within the Office of Graduate Studies & Professional Learning.
Responsibilities:
You will play a crucial role in supporting the CET team lead, the Associate Dean, and the Assistant Dean in amplifying the CET initiatives at NIE.
- Reviewing certifications and courses.
- Overseeing policies governance and execution.
- Planning and managing programs and courses.
- Renewing SkillsFuture (SSG) funding and revising course fees.
- Preparing statistical reports.
- Managing CET budgets and program costs.
- Providing secretariat support for meetings with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Handling course scheduling, applications, admissions, result processing, record management, website maintenance, inquiries management, etc.
- Conducting CET outreach activities.
- Implementing and improving IT systems.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Familiarity with Continuing Education & Training in Singapore, including SSG processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong interpersonal abilities, showcasing teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Detail-oriented and meticulous approach.
- Ability to multitask and ensure close monitoring of tasks.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and responsive to changes.
- Knowledge of policies, guidelines, and procedures related to micro-credential program offerings would be advantageous.
- Proficient in drafting proposals, reports, and minutes.
- Skilled in using IT tools like Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat.
