Overview of job
MediaCom is an agency of GroupM, the world's largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a E2E China Lead to join us in our SK-II business.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing the existing China operations, currently planning only, to become eligible and therefore ready for the E2E integration onto the global SK-II model within the next 9 months.

This role reports to SK-II Global Lead

In this role, your goals will be:

In three months:

  • Significant progress in developing the capability of the existing team and business function
  • Established operational and strategic presence and built outstanding relationships with key clients

In six months:

  • Prepared a SK-II specific bespoke media buying strategy & buying basket, so that SK-II can be operationalized independently from the P&G Corporate buying
  • Prepared SK-II bespoke programmatic tech stack (DMP, DSP, etc), so that the brand campaigns can be planned and executed (ideally) 100% programmatically

In nine months:

  • Consistent operational excellence in delivery to the customer
  • Full integration of the China SK-II business into the SK-II global model

  • Ensuring operational excellence in delivery to the customer

Minimum qualifications:

  • Hands on experience of the China marketplace, including expertise in Planning, Buying, Digital & Data space
  • Experience of having held relationships with senior clients, including of the level of Marketing Director
  • Experience of having led and coached mid / large sized teams
  • Language fluency in Chinese (desirable but not essential) & English
