Job summary:

Channel Sales is foundational to NetApp's success and business plan.

Channel Sales team engage with key business Partners to enable, motivate and team with NetApp's solutions and sales teams, satisfying Clients' most complex data management needs.

Channel Sales professionals are motivators, negotiators, trainers, data analysts, leaders, problem-solvers and team-players.

A Channel Sales Associate assists the Channel Sales Director and Channel Sales leadership team accomplish key objectives with specific, assigned Partners, working to develop strategic Partner Business plans, effectively communicate with NetApp and Partner influencers and respond to ad-hoc issues and opportunities.


Job requirements:

  • Identify, recruit and develop new partners to drive sales of NetApp solutions.
  • Support partner sales and field sales on leads and opportunities engagement.
  • Work closely with our partners to understand their landscape, identify gaps, enable their resources and derive strategy to implement NetApp.
  • Develop joint business plan with partners.
  • Drive partners quarterly business review & followup of key business metrics.
  • Work and engage with partners to drive sales of NetApp solutions.
  • Work with partners to design strong and implementable business and marketing plans and strategic initiatives.
  • Influence partners mindset along NetApp direction and guide them towards incremental growth areas.
  • Build and Maintain relationships with existing partners.
  • Drive partner enablement & readiness for NetApp solutions.
  • Provide weekly, Quarterly and Yearly forecast, Pipeline reviews.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Capable of working in a virtual environment.
  • Can work on holidays, weekends, or differing time zones, if needed.
  • Must be able to communicate in English.
  • Able to travel up to 50% of the time.
