Autism Resource Centre (Singapore), also known as ARC(S), is a non-profit organization in Singapore focused on supporting individuals on the autism spectrum to lead independent and fulfilling lives in society. ARC(S) provides various services including Pathlight School, The Art Faculty, and Professor Brawn.

Employability and Employment Centre (E2C) is a pioneering center dedicated to helping individuals with autism thrive in the workplace and assisting employers in hiring individuals with autism.

Our team's mission is to train and empower individuals with autism to secure employment in fields that align with their strengths and interests, allowing them to contribute to society effectively and find satisfaction in their work.

Your Role and Contribution:

As part of the team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing tailored coaching strategies to support clients' success in the workplace under the guidance of job coaches, case managers, and autism consultants
  • Producing necessary documents, reports, and communications to share information with parents and document site observations
  • Offering job training and assistance at external work sites to ensure clients meet work expectations
  • Assisting clients in adapting to the work environment, handling relationships with colleagues and supervisors
  • Engaging in meetings and training sessions to enhance your knowledge and skills

Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must hold a Diploma or GCE A level qualification
  • Willingness to travel to various work locations, potentially multiple sites in a day
  • Effective communication skills to interact with external employers and colleagues
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work setting
  • Passion for learning about Autism and helping individuals with special needs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
