What will you do


The Consumer Health Asia Pacific business comprises of 3 Franchises (categories): Essential Health (EH), Skin Health (SH) and Self Care (SC).

As the Commercial Finance Manager of the Essential Health business, the role reports directly to the Senior Commercial Finance Manager and expected to have a close partnership with the AP EH Franchise Cross-functional Team including frequent interactions with senior management and other key internal stakeholders.

This is a critical role that is intended to help shape the future of Essential Health through clear portfolio choices, deliberate resource distortions/re-investments and innovation pipeline across Asia Pacific markets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver FY EH Financial targets through close partnerships with the AP EH crossfunctional team, markets and crossfunction finance teams in assessing trends, minimizing risks and optimizing opportunities
  • Sharpen strategy for Baby Care and Wound Care as well as strengthen execution excellence in line with strategy
  • Drive Essential Health value creation strategies and initiatives to accelerate profitable growth particularly through core pricing/promotion architecture, pricing ecosystem, resource distortion, portfolio optimization and endtoend value chain
  • Influence business decision through factbase insights/business modelling from both internal and external data (including benchmarking)
  • Lead AP EH Innovation pipeline and short/long term portfolio sufficiency analyses covering financial evaluation of new product developments (NPD) both pre and postlaunch analyses. Provide framework and analysis of resource prioritization recommendations, drive reduction of NPI, and increase forecast accuracy
  • Support the Senior Commercial Finance Manager and other crossfunctional team in developing overall EH longterm financial planning to shape top and bottom line EH growth strategies and priorities
  • Prioritize Health & Wellbeing of all team members starting with effective prioritization and process simplification
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion to build an inclusive culture

Other Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding / training of new team members on Essential Health meeting cadence, business environment and financials
  • Lead ad hoc requests / projects (Global/Regional) and active collaboration with other functions on continuous improvement activities
  • Maintain the highest levels of team engagement through active engagement / participation in various company events and oneonone connect sessions
  • Proactively lead Compliance environment in everyday process
Qualifications

What we are looking for

  • A selfstarter with strong influential skills and the ability to prioritize and deliver in complex environment and multiple stakeholders
  • Drive faster business decision making through holistic factbased insights
  • Active listener and strong interpersonal skills
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and data management skills are required

Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or relevant discipline
  • Professional certification (e.g. ACCA/CA/CPA/CMA) is preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of experience within the Finance function or with relevant experience in finance, strategy roles or corporate finance
  • Global or multinational business experience strongly preferred
  • Strong project management skill is preferred and demonstrated ability to lead complex crossfunctional initiatives across a breadth of stakeholders
