Summary
This position supports the Area Sales & Operations Manager (ASOM) in taking responsibility to achieve retail sales target and business objectives through:

  • Lead and manage assigned focus market sales & operations independently
  • Efficient management of daily counter operations in Southeast Asia (SEA) assigned region
  • Support setup of marketing details and point of sales execution for product launch and promotions
  • Lead Marketing Implementation for tactical plan/plans in line with go to market activations to drive retail sales
  • Plan, Implement and monitor incentive programs for Beauty Advisors (BAs)
  • Motivate BAs to maximize the Brand's retail sales
  • Coaching, development, and supervision of BAs and Airport Coordinators (APCs)

A. Sales-Related Responsibilities (70%)

Sales Support

  • Monthly review retail sales targets and performance of each door with ASOM
  • Work with ASOM to roll out targets and incentives schemes to drive retail sales
  • Analyze performance of business vs. sales objectives, sales trends, and competition
  • Submit monthly sales reports and sales commentary.
  • Ensure brand image and visual merchandising are in line with brand standards and philosophy at retail counters.
  • Coordinate and execute the setup of all promotions, instore programs, and activities.
  • Cascade marketing plans, sharing calenda promotions plan & etc
  • Give direction and specific instructions to APCs and BAs on how to do their jobs to achieve their sales goals (To individually coach BAs based on their strengths and weaknesses)

Inventory Support & Management

  • Analyze and recommend correct stock levels (min/max at store level), order replenishment and product assortment.
  • Manage Inventory, assortments for assigned focus market Independently while in close collaboration with ASOM and CAM Teams
  • Manage and follow up on launches, testers and GWPs.
  • Highlight any deviation of suggested retail price implementation.
  • Regular review of aging and discon products and propose solutions to ASOM to reduce risk of returns

Marketing Support & Implementation

  • Support and execute market activations plans to drive retail sales
  • Provide feedback on additional exposure opportunity in each market and competitions threat update.
  • Coordinate and execute Newness, promotions, and instore programs setup in collaboration with ASOM and the Store Design Visual Merchandising team.
  • Monitor product trends, performance and identify potential sales opportunities to ASOM and Marketing team.
  • Ensure all gotomarket materials and promotional elements are available on time in store to support launches.
  • Provides promotions report to sales & marketing team postcampaign implementation as well as competitive intelligence on competitors' programmers.

Supervision and Team Management of Beauty Advisors

  • Assist ASOM in recruiting, onboarding, and the management of BA headcount and productivity to ensure sufficient staffing coverage for the counters.
  • Ensure BA uphold grooming standards of the brand they represent.

Store Management

  • Ensuring store Visual Merchandising are to date and aligned with brand standards.
  • Work closely with ASOM and VM team on counter planograms and displays.
  • Excellent follow up skills in ensuring all installation and repair work are completed on time.

Education (30%) - Train and develop Beauty Advisors

Counter Coaching

  • Connect with BAs both through Virtual Learning Tools and instore meetings to train and coach on general selling skills (e.g. how to service customers, how to upsell//cross sell, how to improve one's productivity)
  • Coach BAs on brand stories, hero products, and other important brandspecifics for ELC brands close by on the sales floor (Sister Brand BA Training for TR Maxx)
  • Utilize Elearning platforms, including brandagnostic content, to coach BAs towards improving customer experience and sales productivity.
  • Work closely with Education Team and conduct Generic Staff training under assigned region.
  • Closely collaborate with the Education team to develop all training/coaching materials based on touchpoint needed.
  • SEE are more likely to focus on brandagnostic topics and to reinforce learnings around branded concepts first introduced by the Education Team.
  • Coach and motivate BAs based on individual talents and skills to drive sales objectives and brand equity

Orientation / Basic New hires training

  • Conduct initial onbarding for new Beauty Advisors in lower tier doors to ensure that they are well versed on their brands(s) and the travelretail working environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Management/Administration or similar degree
  • Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in Retail Operations or Sellout roles, preferably in the travel retail industry
