The Technical Solutions Project Manager resides on the BioProduction Inquiry to Order (ITO) Single Use Technologies team and is responsible for supporting BioProduction and Research markets.

They are a single point of contact serving the customer, sales and operations through the cross-functional execution of custom product inquiries, with the primary focus on building relationships and delivering an outstanding customer experience.


Key Responsibilities**:

  • Work closely with assigned customers and Account Managers to accurately gather requirements and secure business
  • Work with interfacing business functions (Design, Packaging Engineering, Product Management, Accounting, Pricing, Technical Solutions team members, and Customer Excellence) to ensure timely and accurate processing of customer quotes and business related inquiries
  • Ensure project and quoting timelines and data gathering are met for all custom product requests for given account assignments.
  • Serve as the customer advocate throughout internal processes. Troubleshoot, communicate, and resolve issues and risks that are jeopardizing customer commitments. Communicate action plans and resolution to the customer in a timely manner.
  • Maintain data integrity standard methodologies through varying systems
  • Meet BioProduction business objectives around inquiry to proposal turnaround time, CAS, and revenue goals.
  • Run reports, analyze data, develop presentations, lead customer facing calls.
  • Maintain departmental internal pacing metrics and KPI's

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications**:

  • Requires BS/BA.
  • Five years of biotechnology experience or proven relevant business experience.
  • Five years' experience in a customer facing environment. Working technical knowledge of the biotechnology industry is preferred but not required.
  • Strong understanding of the basics of project management methodologies.
