Job Description
The successful candidate will be part of the Inflight Services Food & Beverage department in our Customer Experience Division, to delight customers through a strategic and comprehensive beverage programme that aims to position Singapore Airlines as the industry leader through:
A highly curated selection of top-quality wines and champagnes; and
A range of other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages that promises quality and variety.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the administrative and coordination work for beverage related matters for SIA, Responsible for F&B daily operations, adhering to beverage standards and policies and support new F&B projects and initiatives. (e.g. Trials, data collection, presentations & papers). Oversee beverage stock management, maintain view of wines/beverages for planning or under advice of the Wine Consultant, review stock for freshness/vintage and plan appropriate beverage rotation to support the business. Support and oversee staff sale of Alcohol and related beverage items. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders (eg. Procurement department, Wine Consultant, beverage specialist) on daily operations and projects. Ensure accurate write ups of beverage menus and stock managementvia system. Participation in some food related matters if required.Requirements
Bachelor's degree in any discipline WSET certification is a plus. Experience in Food & Beverage planning or Logistics operations Knowledge of wines, alcoholic beverages will be an advantage. Project management experience Good IT literacy, comfortable with using digital tools (including Microsoft office suite) Meticulous, organised, collaborative and resourceful. Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and cope with pressure due to the time-sensitive nature of the job. Excellent communication (both written and verbal), problem-solving and decision-making skills.
