Investment Internship at Novo Holdings Asia in Singapore

We are searching for a curious and motivated Intern to join our well-established investment team in Asia at Novo Holdings.
Novo Holdings stands out as one of the leading life science investors globally, with a diverse portfolio covering the entire spectrum of life science activities – from early-stage research to established commercial entities. The Internship

This role will position you in the Asia Investment team located in Singapore, where you will be actively engaged in the investment process, with key responsibilities such as:

  • Participating in financial analyses of potential investment opportunities utilizing valuation models
  • Contributing to the identification of investment themes through in-depth industry research
  • Conducting comprehensive industry research on potential investments and their respective markets
  • Collating, organizing, and effectively conveying information regarding potential or existing investments

Based on your skills and interests, you will have abundant prospects to undertake additional duties and assume more responsibilities.

Requirements

Professional & Personal Qualifications

We are specifically seeking candidates currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree / MBA with a solid academic track record and previous relevant internship exposure in Venture Capital, Private Equity, Investment Banking, or Financial Services. You should possess a sound comprehension of financial and accounting principles along with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

You should thrive in a demanding entrepreneurial setting, show a keen interest in the sustainable development ecosystem and technology, and exhibit a strong passion and motivation to delve into investments and portfolio management, with a quick grasp of new ideas and concepts.

In addition, you should demonstrate:

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in English (knowledge of Mandarin is advantageous)
  • The ability to work autonomously and demonstrate a high level of personal initiative and integrity
  • A team-oriented mindset with a strong commitment and exceptional analytical abilities
  • Solid financial analysis, writing, and presentation prowess
  • Excellent attention to detail, producing meticulous and organized work
  • Readiness to commit to a preferred internship period of six months
