We are focused on creating innovative, user-centric mobile and web applications. We are seeking an experienced Application Development Project Manager to oversee the development of our mobile and web applications, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery, and meeting the defined requirements.


Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Application Development Project Manager to lead and manage the development of custom software applications. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes, from conception through to deployment. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Lead and manage the entire development process of mobile and web applications, ensuring that all project phases—planning, design, development, testing, and delivery—are executed effectively and efficiently.
  • Team Management: Coordinate and lead a multidisciplinary team (developers, designers, QA engineers) to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of project tasks.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with clients, product owners, and other stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements, provide project updates, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Progress Tracking: Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring that the project stays on track and adheres to deadlines.
  • Resource Allocation: Effectively manage resources and ensure that tasks are distributed to the right team members based on skills and workload.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and communicate risks to stakeholders, ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that the developed applications meet the defined quality standards and functional requirements through effective testing and validation processes.
  • Budget and Cost Management: Oversee project budgets, ensuring that the project is completed within financial constraints while maintaining quality and scope.
  • Communication & Reporting: Maintain clear, consistent communication with all stakeholders, providing regular status updates, managing expectations, and escalating issues as needed.
  • Post-Launch Support: Coordinate post-launch monitoring, troubleshooting, and enhancements as necessary, ensuring applications are continuously optimized.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience managing mobile/web application development projects.
  • Proven experience in managing the full development lifecycle of web or mobile applications.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and other project management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Trello, Asana, or similar to manage tasks and track progress.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or similar certifications are a plus.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience working with mobile development platforms (iOS, Android) and web technologies.
  • Knowledge of current industry trends, UI/UX best practices, and app development frameworks.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
