Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based infrastructure solutions and systems.
  • Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of Windows servers and systems.
  • Administration of Red hat systems
  • Linux patch management, upgrade etc.
  • Manage software such as ManageEngine, Security tools like Encryption, Secure Key etc.
  • Configure and troubleshoot virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Configure and maintain cloud services, including virtual machines, containers, serverless functions, networking, storage, and security.
  • Administration of middleware productions, WAF, CDN, ALB, NLB and NetScaler.
  • Install, configure, and manage Windows/UNIX servers and services at datacentres.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and support enterprise-wide solutions.
  • Perform routine system and application updates, patches, and upgrades.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Provide level 2 and level 3 support for Unix-related issues.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  • Preferably 6 years of working experience in a Cloud Engineer or similar role, with a focus on designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based solutions/operations.
  • Experience in terraform, lambda functions, Ansible and native backup tools.
  • Proficiency in Linux Server operating systems
  • Knowledge in Windows operating systems are preferred.
  • Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts, including virtual private clouds (VPCs), subnets, routing, and load balancing.
