HUP SOON CHEONG SERVICES PTE LTD is a trusted local SME provider of warehousing and trucking services in Keppel Distripark since 1992. Thanks to our dedicated team, we are one of the largest container freight station in Keppel Distripark today.


As a Shipping Executive, your duties are as below:


Key Responsibilities

· Plan and schedule export shipments via sea, air, and direct delivery.

· Coordinate with the Marketing and Warehouse departments, as well as external forwarding and shipping agents, for shipment arrangements.

· Handle vessel bookings, container trucking, cargo inspection, fumigation, ventilation of wooden pallets, and documentation processing.

· Preparing and processing customs documents, including commercial invoices, certificates of origin, and other required documents.

· Ensure compliance with customers' requirements when preparing shipping documents.

· Comply with all safety regulations, security protocols, and company policies governing the handling and transportation of hazardous cargo.

· Liaise with inspection and fumigation companies for cargo inspections and pallet treatments before shipment.

· Verify and update freight bills against shipping data.

· Provide timely updates and reports to management regarding the status of shipments.

· Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager/management.


Requirements

· Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

· At least 2 years of relevant experience in a warehousing environment.

· Strong knowledge of export documentation, shipping procedures, and Permit Declaration.

· Familiarity with overseas shipping operations is an advantage.


Working hours:

Mondays to Fridays

8:30am to 6:15pm
