The NTU Office of Commercial and Auxiliary Services (OCAS) isresponsible for the strategic planning, management, and marketingof commercial real estate (F&B, amenities & lifestyleservices), hospitality and auxiliary services (car parks andshuttle bus services) in NTU main campus and NTU@one-north.

OCAS is looking for a dynamic andforward-thinking individual to join the team as Asst Manager/Senior Asst Manager, Auxiliary Services (Transport). In this role,you will be at the forefront of managing the Campus' transportservices, including the campus shuttle bus operations, car parksand EV charging facilities. You will also have the uniqueopportunity to shape the future of NTU Campus transport andmobility solutions as we prepare for the opening of the JurongRegional Line in 2029.

The keyresponsibilities are:

VendorManagement
  • Ensure good governance andadministration of contracts with vendors for bus, car parking andEV charging services.
  • Monitor & trackservices rendered by providers in accordance with contractrequirements.
  • Ensure service standards arecomplied with and seek improvements to enhance customersatisfaction.
  • Manage staff and external serviceproviders to provide quality frontline services and projectsupport.


Transport/Mobilitybudgeting and planning
  • Preparetransport budget, reports and keep track of financialtargets.
  • Implement campus mobility plans andwork with other providers to explore newopportunities.
  • Work on the technology roadmaptogether with the transportation plans to provide efficient andeco-friendly transport solutions oncampus
  • Represent OCAS in working groups withother departments to conduct feasibility studies, identify gaps andseek solutions for the services.
  • Benchmark thedepartment with industry best practices, advise on industry/marketdevelopment and develop recommendations for the department to stayin the lead.


StakeholderEngagement
  • Manage relationships withkey stakeholders of the University and relevant governmentauthorities.


And otherrelated duties as assigned (e.g. Department's Safety LiaisonRepresentative)

Requirements:
  • Degreein any discipline. Diploma holders with extensive experience in thetransportation function may beconsidered.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevantexperience in managing administration / procurement, contractsmanagement, financial transactions, and operations management,preferably in the transport industry or in an Institute of HigherLearning.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Officeapplications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Outlook)
  • Excellent communicationskills
  • Strong problem-solvingskills
  • TeamPlayer


This position wouldbe based at NTU's main campus. Appointment may vary andcommensurate with candidate's prior workexperience.
