Roles & Responsibilities

Area Manager responsible is to oversee day-to-day operations across multiple retail locations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability. This role involves managing resources, improving operational processes, and ensuring compliance with company standards. Area Manager works closely with other departments to support overall business objectives and strategic goals.


Job Descriptions:


1. Operational Management:

· Oversee daily operations across assigned retail locations to ensure smooth and efficient processes.

· Implement and optimize operational policies and procedures.

· Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and regulations.


2. Retail Store Maintenance and Renovation Coordination:

· Oversee maintenance and repair activities to ensure retail stores are well-maintained.

· Coordinate store renovations and new store openings, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

· Assist with logistics and setup for new store launches.

· Manage store equipment maintenance and repair.


3. IT Support:

· Oversee the setup and integration of new IT systems in stores and offices.

· Collaborate with the IT team to troubleshoot technical issues and support daily operations.

· Ensure IT systems meet operational needs and enhance productivity.


4. Resource Management:

· Manage the allocation and utilization of resources, including staff, equipment, and materials.

· Optimize resource use to increase productivity and reduce costs.


5. Performance Monitoring:

· Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.

· Analyse data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.

· Prepare and present reports on operational performance to senior management.


6. Process Improvement:

· Identify opportunities to streamline and improve operational processes.

· Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

· Lead projects aimed at reducing operational costs and improving service delivery.


7. New Product Launches:

· Coordinate and oversee the launch of new products in retail stores.

· Ensure all logistical and operational aspects of the launch are managed efficiently.


8. Team Leadership:

· Supervise and support operational staff, including hiring, training, and development.

· Foster a positive and productive work environment.

· Provide clear direction, feedback, and performance evaluations to team members.


9. Customer Service:

· Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained across all retail locations.

· Address and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly.

· Work with the customer service team to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.


10. Financial Oversight:

· Assist in budgeting and financial planning for operational activities.

· Monitor operational expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.

· Ensure operations are conducted within budget and financial guidelines.


11. Strategic Planning:

· Contribute to the development of operational strategies aligned with business goals.

· Implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and growth.

· Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.


Requirement

· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role. Having managed multiple teams or locations previously is preferred.

· Having experience within the industry or in retail operation is preferred.
