TheDivision of Gastroenterology & Hepatology, Department ofMedicine is seeking candidates who are highly motivated and willingto join us for a challenging and fulfilling appointment as ResidentPhysicians.

We are a tertiary referral centrefor complex clinical cases and we provide a comprehensive array ofdiagnostic and therapeutic treatment for digestive and liverdiseases. Our strengths lie in several key services, notably inviral hepatitis, liver cancer, functional bowel diseases andtherapeutic endoscopy. As a dedicated facility to the prevention,diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal and liver diseases, weare equipped with the technology and know-how to provide accuratediagnosis as well as management plans for both common andcomplicated gastrointestinal, liver and biliaryconditions.

As a Resident Physician, you will beresponsible for the management of patients in the wards andclinics, and administrative duties required of the department toprovide direct patient care. Other duties include specialistoutpatient clinic, inpatient coverage (rostered) and to providecontinuity of care for patients.

• Possess abasic medical degree that is registrable with the Singapore MedicalCouncil
• Candidates with a registrable postgraduate withthe Singapore Medical Council and possess the relevant clinicalexperience may be considered for the Resident Physicianposition
• Be in active clinical practice
•Possess a 3 year of post housemanship clinicalexperience
• Able to work independently with demonstratedcompetence in managing patients in the department
•Confident, takes initiatives and a good team player
