TheDepartment of Ophthalmology, National University Hospital, isseeking candidates who are highly motivated and willing to join usfor a challenging and fulfilling appointment as ResidentPhysician.

As a Resident Physician, you will beresponsible for overall supervision and day-to-day running of theclinics (onsite and offsite), including patient care, exercisinggood diagnostic and clinical managementacumen.

In addition, you will supervise andteach Medical officers and Primary Care Partners (Family Physiciansand General Practitioners), attend and participate in alldepartmental teaching rounds including the combined Hospitalteaching seminars, clinical-pathological case conferences,etc.

There will also be opportunities for you toparticipate in department initiatives (e.g. setting up team-basedcare), new services (e.g. running a Diagnostic Test Reading Centre)and research projects, where appropriate.

•Possess a basic medical degree and a postgraduate (MRCP) which areregistrable with the Singapore Medical Council

•Possess a 3 year post housemanship clinicalexperience

• Be in active clinicalpractice

• Must be registered with the SingaporeMedical Council

• Able to demonstrate gooddiagnostic and clinical management acumen

• Ableto demonstrate teamwork, respect, integrity, compassion andexcellence in his/ her work
