Job Description: Senior/Logistics Executive


Work Location: 10 Kallang Sector, The Egis, Singapore 349280 (Beside Infineon & near Kallang Bahru MRT Station (DT24),


Reporting Structure:Direct report to Group SCM Head based at Durapower-Suzhou; functionally reports to Logistics Manager who are based in Durapower-Suzhou. The person will be based at our workshop at the stated location.


Position Overview:


The Senior Logistics Executive manages and optimizes logistics processes to ensure efficient and safe transport of goods from suppliers to customers. The role requires strong organizational skills, communication abilities, and expertise in international trade and logistics.


Key Responsibilities


Order Processing

  • Review purchase orders (POs) and address discrepancieS

Warehouse Management

  • Maintain inventory control systems and ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Manage receipt, dispatch, and storage of goods.
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, product inspections, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Coordinate quarterly inventory audits with finance and manage waste disposal.

Import/Export Operations:

  • Handle shipment bookings, document preparation, customs clearance, and freight tracking.
  • Manage third-party logistics providers and evaluate cost efficiencies.
  • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and manage battery registrations.

Customer Service

  • Resolve customer inquiries and logistics-related issues.
  • Handle exceptions during transportation and ensure timely delivery.

Data Analysis:

  • Generate regular logistics reports on costs, transit times, and inventory.
  • Analyze logistics performance and propose improvements.

Support Services:

  • Serve as the primary contact for internal departments requiring logistics support.
  • Report to Group Supply Chain Director and Logistics Manager.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year in international logistics with up to 5 years working in a similar function
  • Proficient in ERP systems and Excel.
  • Good English & Mandarin proficiency (speaking, writing, reading).
  • Good communication, coordination, and stress management skills.
  • Knowledge of international trade terms and import/export requirements.
