Piping Supervisor | FPSO | 2 Years

Perform as a Piping Supervisor for Offshore Projects (Fixed Platforms and FPSO) and reports to the Site Manager/Project Manager of the project.
- Direct control & supervision of sub-contractors related to piping activities at site.
- Ensure thelatest of “For Construction Drawings” and “Specification for Construction”is in use by the Sub-contractor, and if not make sure the Sub-contractor collects the latest issues.
- Coordinate with QC for all the related inspection and NDT requirement.
- Check filed works and carry out the works in proper manner.
- Keep daily activity progress record and log any problems that may exist for immediate action.
- Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
- Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly work reports and submit them to the superior timely.
- Verify the progress report prepares by the subcontractor.
- Coordinating interfaces with other discipline supervisors.
- Preparation of punch listing and expedite the punch-out.
- Monitor actual daily manpower/equipment mobilized, check it based on the plan and report to the piping engineer/HOD.
- Assist to discipline engineer to solve the site concern matters.
- Check and ensure that works are carrying out according to the priority sequence given for the specific task instruct by discipline lead.
- Monitor and ensuring the field piping materials are well maintain at site and report and discrepancy to lead engineer.
- Ensure the subordinates are trained and knowledgeable of specifications and work procedures, to ensure optimum efficiency, and work is being performed in conformance with specified quality requirements.
- Track the arrival of materials and match materials to shipyards to fabricate.
Qualifications:
- Diploma bachelor’s degree holder in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in offshore piping installation and supervision,strong knowledge of relevent industry standards (e.g., ASME, API)
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawing and specifications.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong attention to details in a team environment and interface with others disciplines.
- Willingness to work in offshore environments and comply with safety regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effective with individuals from diverse nationalities and cultural backgrounds.
Technical Competencies:
- Minimum intermediate English is required.
- Fluent English is a competitive edge.
- Advanced Portuguese is expected.
- Intermediate Office Package knowledge is required.
- Basic CMMS knowledge (SAP preferred) is expected.
