Are you a seasoned Cloud Engineer or Senior IAM Specialist with expertise in various cloud concepts, services, and tools, particularly from multiple public cloud providers, with a focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM) for Azure Cloud and/or Google Cloud?


This role offers an exciting and dynamic opportunity to work for an investment bank, making it a truly engaging and stimulating position.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Deliver IAM solutions for migrating or new applications within the client environment across various Cloud providers, focusing on Google Cloud.
  • Offer IAM services for intricate, multi-tier applications transitioning to Google Cloud, including authentication and authorization (RBAC).
  • Choose suitable IAM Cloud controls for migrating applications based on specified requirements.
  • Collaborate with a globally distributed team to provide innovative and robust Cloud-centric solutions.
  • Work closely with Vendors to develop and deploy Cloud services that meet customer expectations.
  • Integrate, configure, document, and deploy compliant infrastructure and supporting services in Google Cloud.
  • Design, optimize, and document the operational aspects in Google Cloud.
  • Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and resolve bugs where possible.
  • Partner with Risk Management to ensure necessary controls for Cloud services are deployed and tested.
Experience and Skills Needed:
  • Proficient in Azure Active Directory and using it as an IDP for Google Cloud or Azure Cloud
  • Extensive experience in the Identity space with a background in Active Directory or similar LDAP stores.
  • Strong understanding of IAM services available in Azure Cloud or Google Cloud.
  • In-depth knowledge of authentication with SAML, OAuth, OpenID, and Kerberos.
  • Solid knowledge in providing Federated Identity with solutions such as PING Federate or ADFS.
  • Previous experience in delivering RBAC solutions for Azure Cloud or Google Cloud.
  • Experience in creating technical architecture documentation.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Experience in creating technical architecture documentation.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills, including PowerShell and/or Python.
  • Previous experience with HashiCorp products such as Terraform, Vault, and Consul.
  • Prior experience with risk control frameworks and engagements with risk and regulatory functions.
  • Experience in the financial industry would be ideal but not essential.
