The Office of Information, Knowledge & Library Services(OIKLS) seeks an enthusiastic and passionate individual toimplement communication strategies and social media plans for OIKSin the areas of library marketing, event management, website &social media management, and student engagement so that our patronsand stakeholders are well informed and enjoy positive libraryexperiences.

Responsibilities:
  • Organizemarketing campaigns in accordance with the overall communicationand marketing strategy.
  • Implement marketingactivities across a broad range of digital marketing channels(social media, digital screens, print, &email).
  • Conduct research and prepare reports onacademic library trends and the various stakeholder groups to driveengagement initiatives.
  • Conceptualise andmanage creation of engaging digital content for publishing ontodigital platforms.
  • Manage social mediaaccounts, create engaging posts, and respond to audienceinquiries.
  • Monitor social media trends andanalyze engagement metrics to inform futurestrategies.
  • Maintain all Internet and Intranetpages (role of Editor in NTU Social MediaPolicy).
  • Propose and develop concepts andthemes for engagement activities aimed at undergraduate andgraduate students.
  • Organize and promote theactivities to generate awareness andparticipation.
  • Organise events held in librarypremises and advise stakeholders on bestpractices.
  • Lead the logistics of libraryevents, activities and initiatives.
  • Conductlibrary tours and visits.
  • Plan and collectrelevant data on events andinitiatives.


Requirements:
  • Arecognized Master of Science in Information Studies or Master ofLibrary and Information Science is preferred.
  • Arecognized Bachelors degree in any field.
  • Goodworking knowledge of Wordpress or other content management systems,Wooclap and similar engagementsystems.
  • Knowledge in managing businessaccounts of key social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook,Twitter and Telegram and use the various tools and resources ofeach platform to study/boost followers, reach andengagement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office(Word, PowerPoint, Forms, and Excel).
  • At least3 years of working experience in a marketingrole.
  • Experience in developing communicationplans or stakeholder management in educationindustry.
  • Experience in writing for socialmedia and conducting business presentation will beadvantageous.
  • Good presentation skills,excellent written and verbal communicationskills.
  • Organized and detailoriented.
  • Service-orientedmindset.
  • Able to work independently andcollaboratively in a team.
  • Good time managementskill and ability to prioritize workwell.
