The Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Scientist with expertise in both in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) molecular product development and training delivery to join our team. This unique role requires a dynamic individual who can drive the innovation and refinement of our diagnostic products while providing comprehensive training to internal teams and clients.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in molecular diagnostics, experience in product lifecycle management, and a passion for training and knowledge transfer. As a key contributor, you will play a crucial role in advancing our diagnostic solutions and empowering others through effective training.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

Product Development

· Lead the design, development, and optimization of quantitative qPCR-based in vitro diagnostic products

· Conduct research and validation studies to ensure product accuracy, reliability, and compliance with industry standards

· Collaborate with R&D and cross-functional teams to innovate and enhance diagnostic assays and technologies

· Ensure product performance through rigorous testing, data analysis, and troubleshooting

· Document development processes and create comprehensive reports on product performance and validation results

· Ensure all products meet regulatory standards and comply with in vitro diagnostic regulations (e.g., ISO 13485)

Technical Training

· Develop and deliver training programs for internal teams, clients, and end-users, covering product usage, technical protocols, and best practices

· Create training materials, including presentations, guides, and user manuals tailored to diverse audiences

· Conduct hands-on training and workshops to improve users’ understanding of diagnostic tools and techniques

Provide ongoing support and feedback to trainees, ensuring full proficiency in product operation

Education& Qualifications

MSc or BSc in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Molecular Genetics, or a related field

Experiences

· Preferably 3 or more years of traceable expertise and hands-on experience in molecular qPCR, isothermal amplification, or NGS-based assay development

· Experience working in an ISO 13485-compliant environment

· Familiarity with the diagnostic assay development process to meet IVD product requirements

· Strong troubleshooting skills in assay development

· Excellent communication skills

· Regional technical support experience is a plus

· Travel is required as necessary
