NTU is seeking a Lead Microscopy Scientist to lead our optical characterization efforts. As a key member of IDMxS, you will work collaboratively with researchers on projects involving advanced optical techniques and microscopy, train and mentor personnel, and develop innovative experimental optical techniques and methods.

Main Objectives:
  • Design and implement new optical characterization platforms
  • Train and mentor personnel in microscope systems and device maintenance
  • Develop novel experimental optical techniques and methods
  • Establish and maintain optical characterization capabilities for molecular detection technologies
  • Publish research in top-tier scientific journals
  • Manage research funding applications and projects
Requirements:
  • PhD in Optics, Microscopy, Engineering, or related disciplines with 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong optics foundation, including geometrical, wave, and quantum optics
  • Prior experience in data analysis and visualization techniques
  • Background in quantum optics
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills
