Job Overview

As an Talent Acquisition Manager, APR at Oliver Wyman, you will play a pivotal role in building out our talented, diverse, and high performing Experienced Consulting, Specialist and Support Professional teams across our Asia Pacific Region.

You will

  • Drive and lead the execution of recruiting strategies alongside the Head of Recruiting and in partnership with key business stakeholders and market or function-based Recruiters.
  • Manage, coach, and further develop a team of Recruiters across the region, providing mentorship, guidance and support.
  • Devise, implement and oversee creative market mapping and direct sourcing approaches to connect with and attract talent.
  • Build on the teamâs direct hiring capabilities, driving in-depth industry knowledge and connections, including with diverse profiles and senior leadership.
  • Oversee the building and maintenance of a robust talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs, leveraging new and existing technology.
  • Help manage Leadership recruiting, enhancing best practices to create a first-class stakeholder experience, partnering with our management team to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Develop project work plans, prioritising team resources and strengths to achieve objectives.  
  • Optimise processes to create efficient and cost-effective solutions, leveraging regional and global synergies, systems and expertise.
  • Enhance and contribute to recruiting best practice across the hiring life cycle, including via global connections.
  • Assess and adapt candidate selection and assessment methodology, aligning with developing business and profile needs.
  • Manage external search firm relationships and negotiations, ensuring approach consistency.
  • Ensure the firmâs internal systems are kept up to date and be a role model user.
  • Utilise data and analytics to report to business partners, assess recruiting strategy success and support data driven decision making.
  • Develop forecast and track progress for Experienced Hire Recruiting budget, including actively and creatively controlling costs to ensuring maximum ROI. 
  • Thoughtfully lead talent and performance management processes for your team, including review writing and delivery.

You have (Experience)

  • Extensive experience of talent sourcing, including at the executive level, gained in a leading search firm or in-house recruiting function, ideally within management consulting or professional services, including a proven track record of building quality talent pipelines and managing candidate processes and offer negotiations.
  • Highly experienced in managing senior stakeholders.
  • People management experience with strong leadership capabilities.
  • Experience delivering excellence with Excel and Powerpoint.
