Success in this position requires the candidate to have strong partner management skills and work with partners to support the needs of Snowflake customers and Snowflakeâs businesses in Asia. The candidate will work with business executives and partner leads across both Snowflakeâs partners and Snowflakeâs employees in the United States and Asia Pacific. 

We are seeking a candidate with a proven track record of successfully working with technology partners, including operating partners, cloud providers, system integrators, and ISVs. The candidate should have prior experience in successfully managing complex partnerships and working with internal stakeholders in product management, engineering, sales and support. 

This role requires travel up to 40% throughout the quarter to support partner management, meetings with customers, support of Snowflakeâs team. Fluency in Mandarin is required

As CHINA PARTNERSHIPS LEADER, you will:

  • Be responsible for Snowflakeâs operating partner relationship, working closely with Snowflake stakeholders in product management, support, sales, finance and other functions
  • Recruit and manage GSI and SI relationships in the specific market to help build solutions and migrate workloads to Snowflake, working closely with the Partner Sales Engineer for GSIs
  • Manage the relationship with Snowflakeâs cloud provider partners starting with AWS 
  • Lead local partnerships with complementary ISVs
  • Lead sales-related discussions, coordinating with Snowflake account executives who manage the accounts globally outside of the region
  • Have a strong understanding of Snowflakeâs value proposition to end customers and partners, including differentiators versus other legacy on prem and cloud-based offerings
  • Forward Strategic thinking -  quickly grasp the essence of new concepts and business value messaging. Sharing customer success stories & case studies to showcase the impact of Snowflake. 

OUR IDEAL CHINA PARTNERSHIPS LEADER WILL HAVE:

  • 5+ years of prior experience managing large technology partnerships in China, including in managing complex contractual relationships
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • The ability to multitask and manage multiple workstreams at once
  • Prior experience in working with both Western and Chinese enterprise technology companies
  • Have a strong understanding of how SIs make revenue through the industry priorities & complexities they face and influence where Snowflake products can have the most impact for their products and services
  • Prior experience in working with stakeholders in product management, engineering, sales, security, support and finance
  • The ability to learn quickly and execute with attention to detail and quality
  • Fluent English and native Mandarin language skills
