The Danaher SE Asia & ANZ President will be a critical part of the High Growth Markets Leadership team to support & accelerate growth initiatives of Danaher & our Operating Companies (OpCoâs)..
Key Responsibilities:
Identify opportunities to accelerate growth via enhanced market visibility, synergies, and commercial execution with DBS best practice sharing. Lead the Danaher SE Asia Board, rejuvenate the ANZ Board and work with Opco GMs to drive strategic / growth initiatives in these regions. Establish & step up our Diagnostics & Life Sciences Innovation Group Platforms; Drive synergies across Opcos & Platforms through LS and Dx Council to achieve incremental growth. Lead the hiring of senior leaders ahead of the curve, bring a local POV on talent, and develop and move talent across OpCos / Regions. Attract, engage & retain high quality talent through various talent initiatives such as GMDP, high-impact development interventions. Lead Government Policy shaping and work closely with Government stakeholders; build relationships & represent Danaher with large Strategic customers / Govt bodies / Industry forums / Regulators. Provide strategic vision of future Market (region and cross-OpCo view) opportunities and risks for DHR; Do Portfolio analysis by Platform and recommend Investment opportunities in the Region. Partner with the Danaher OpCos and Corporate Development teams to identify, prioritize, cultivate, assess, transact, and integrate inorganic opportunities in-Region. Provide monthly / quarterly input and guidance to HGM & Global Leadership; In partnership with OpCos, reinforce DBS discipline and growth mind-set related to achievement of KPIs and establish a system of governance to strengthen the compliance culture and provide insights into the health of the organization. Build a more inclusive Danaher in the Region in partnership with Global and HGM teams.
Critical Experiences & Expertise
 Credible Commercial & Leadership experience within the Region
 Must have handled scale / size; exposure to manufacturing will be an added advantage.
 M&A experience in the Region
 Strong blend of strategic thinking and execution excellence
 Ability to influence local and Global OpCo leaders in a matrix environment without direct solid line reporting relationships.
 Ability to instill Danaher culture with all associates in the region while respecting cultural differences.
 Change management â willing to make hard fact-based decisions, comfortable with an unstructured/changing environment.
 Demonstrated leadership in building and developing high performance teams globally; commands strong followership among customers / partners & associates.
