Overview

AI-First UI/UX Design Manager (Relocate to Dubai to build an AI-native global brand) at Puffy. This role is about defining the AI-native design playbook for the entire e-commerce industry and leading an AI-first design practice.

• Your Toolbox (AI-Native Design Environment): Architect strategy in a truly AI-first environment, implementing everything from Adobe Firefly to LLM-powered personalization — a competitive advantage few Design Managers in the world will have. This role centers on building an AI-native design engine around Figma AI licenses and related tools.

• Architect the AI-First Design Revolution: Build an AI-powered design practice using tools like Figma AI, Adobe Firefly, and LLM systems to reduce design-to-deployment time, create conversion-focused e-commerce experiences, and establish AI-assisted design as the company standard.
• Transform Operations & Lead with Velocity: Evolve the team to agile workflows, mentor designers to become AI-native practitioners, ensure brand governance, and own the customer journey from Home to Checkout to maximize conversion.
• Drive Revenue Through Experimentation: Implement a CRO roadmap with A/B testing and multi-armed bandits, partner with Marketing and Analytics to deploy AI-shaped UX patterns, and link design decisions to revenue impact.
• Translate Vision into Business Impact: Be the voice of design in the C-suite, presenting data-backed design narratives to secure buy-in and drive business outcomes.

• 7–10 years in web design for e-commerce , including 4+ years leading, mentoring, and managing a design team.
• Portfolio showing shipped PDP/PLP/Checkout improvements tied to business metrics.
• Expert in Figma (components, variables, Dev Mode); strong visual/motion craft and responsive design sensibility.
• Proven experience implementing GenAI tools into a professional design pipeline , with understanding of prompt engineering, quality control, and brand governance.
• Familiarity with AI-shaped UX patterns (conversational search, assistant UI, recommendation modules) and their measurement.
• Comfort collaborating on experiments (A/B vs multi-armed bandits ) with Growth; understands trade-offs between optimization speed and causal certainty.
• Working knowledge of WCAG 2.2 and SEO fundamentals for structured content and schema on e-commerce sites.
