Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the Regional Segment Strategy, ensuring alignment with global objectives and contributing to the overall Segment Business Plan.
  • Collaborate closely with global segment leaders to integrate regional insights and priorities into the global strategy.
  • Translate strategic plans into actionable sourcing initiatives, including supplier selection, contract negotiations, and supplier performance management.
  • Oversee the creation, implementation, and periodic review of regional segment plans to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
  • Manage sourcing processes and lead negotiations to achieve optimal outcomes for assigned segments, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Ensure supplier choices are guided by strategic priorities and evaluated using a structured scoring methodology.
  • Maintain and update supplier agreements in accordance with business needs and compliance requirements.
  • Support global sourcing efforts by contributing regional expertise and participating in cross-functional negotiations.
  • Ensure suppliers are fully informed of and adhere to company standards, policies, and operational procedures.
  • Engage internal stakeholders early in the sourcing process to align on supplier capabilities and product features.
  • Develop and implement Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) strategies, including regular performance reviews and follow-up on improvement actions.
  • Maintain accurate supplier data, including classifications, payment terms, and currency arrangements, in line with corporate policies.
  • Keep supplier performance metrics current within procurement systems and ensure data integrity.
  • Handle day-to-day procurement operations, including purchase order processing and issue resolution.
  • Monitor and drive performance against key procurement KPIs and manage the purchasing portfolio effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with regional and local stakeholders, acting as a strategic sourcing ambassador.
  • Support the company’s sustainability goals by promoting responsible sourcing practices and contributing to the Net Zero emissions target in 15 years
  • Share expertise and collaborate within the Segment Buyer network, including leaders and project buyers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or above.
  • Minimal 3 years of experience in purchasing, direct/indirect purchasing experience is preferred.
  • Experience in supplier selection processes.
  • Extensive experience in project management.
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Drive change and be part of transformation journey
