Overview

Linxens is seeking a Regional Category Buyer (Packing Materials) to join our procurement and supply chain team. The role focuses on developing supplier relationships, negotiating terms, and ensuring reliable supply and data-driven decision making to support our manufacturing and electronics industries.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
  • Conduct regular supplier calls and internal meetings weekly and bi-weekly
  • Conduct regular supplier performance reviews to assess capabilities, quality, and delivery reliability
Procurement & Sourcing
  • Identify and evaluate new suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and risk management
  • Monitor and mitigate supply chain risks, including component shortages, disruptions, or geopolitical factors
Supply Chain Coordination
  • Coordinate with supply chain planning teams for timely delivery of materials and manage lead times
Data Analysis & Maintenance
  • Maintain information such as pricing, lead-time, and payment terms in ERP system (QAD)
  • Prepare and present data reports, visualizations, and dashboards for stakeholders
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Buying (preferably in chemical, semiconductor, electronics, or automotive sectors)
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • Understanding of markets, cost structures, and supply chain management principles
  • Proficiency in market analysis, cost modeling, and data-driven decision-making
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently
  • IT savviness with a good understanding of IT applications
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a matrix organization
  • Fluency in English is required; fluency in Mandarin is a plus
