What the role is At IRAS, we partner you to deliver quality tax services and foster a competitive tax environment for our nation's social and economic growth. You will be responsible for the overall success of a project by ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, meet business requirements and comply with IT governance framework, including security and resilience. What you will be working on Define, document and carry out medium to high complexity projects. Project governance, change management and to identify, monitor and mitigate anticipated project risks. Ensure the effective controls for change management, and risk management are maintained. Recommend mitigating measures to manage the identified project risks. Recommend and adopt project management methodology and tools for the project implementation and/or maintenance. Ensure that realistic project plans, interdependencies are tracked, maintained and stakeholders promptly updated. Manage and monitor project schedule, cost, scope timescales, resources used, and take action where these deviate from agreed tolerances. Ensure compliance with the QMS, IM8 and Security policies and standards guidelines to ensure the development processes, and procedures and system are designed to comply with the requirements, policies and standards. What we are looking for Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information/ Infocomm Technology, Computer or Electronics Engineering or related field. At least 5 years of relevant working experience. Would be advantageous if you have managed 2 full project development life cycles, with at least one using Agile methodology. Strong vendor and key partners leadership skills. Strong stakeholder management balancing both the analytical aspect and the people aspects. Excellent communicator in articulating plan at both the executive level and the working level and is an attentive listener to understand needs and issues, with strong presentation skills, both written and verbal. Strategic, technical thinker to understand and manage the complexity of people and technology. Strong business acumen to understand priorities and the business drivers of the priorities. Strong analytical, conceptualisation and problem-solving skills. An adaptable and bold personality, with openness to pick new knowledge and take thoughtful risks. Be motivated by innovation to achieve business goals and customer happiness. Preferred Skills Experience in handling application digital solutions, preferably involving Cloud, Design Thinking, Data Analytics or Product-Centric Development. Experience in tender bids, calls, evaluations or presentations. Project Management-related certifications such as PMP, ITIL. Agile-related certification such as Certified Scrum Master.
