You will be responsible for providing laboratory support for projects across the AMEA region. In addition to project support, you will share responsibility for daily laboratory maintenance and assist in maintaining the facility. This includes tasks such as managing inventory, ensuring equipment readiness, and upholding safety and quality standards. The role requires a proactive approach, strong technical capabilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting. **Responsibilities:** * Responsibility for laboratory organization, including but not limited to ensuring labs are clean and organized, communal stock administration, oversight of cold storage units and lab access procedures.* Maintain and organize inventory of laboratory equipment and supplies* Assisting with coordinating of laboratory equipment calibration and maintenance and keeping records up to date.* Track, order, and receive lab reagents and disposables such as chemicals, enzymes, buffers, pipette tips, reagent tubes, etc* Handling Environment, Health & Safety (e.g. point-of-contact for the EH&S team and Risk Assessments, safety inspections) and Facilities (e.g. equipment moves, space planning) related tasks* Provide ad-hoc support to others within lab management team* Collaborate with other departments on cross functional projects Listed responsibilities are an essential, but not exhaustive list, of the usual duties associated with the position. Changes to individual responsibilities may occur due to business needs. **Requirements:**Experience working in or supervising a wet lab or equivalent containing standard equipment (liquid handling robots, safety cabinets, compressed gases, chemical handling and disposal, centrifuges, PCR machines, etc.).* Conducting laboratory work for Illumina’s library prep, sequencing, and microarray products including experimental design, data generation, and data analysis.* Motivated, enthusiastic, hard-working, cheerful individual who desires to be part of a fast-paced dynamic environment.
