Join to apply for the Data Analytics Traineeship ( ) role at VITAL (Ministry of Finance) Overview As a Data Analytics Trainee, you will join the Operations Planning Unit / Data Office within VITAL’s Central Services. Our team partners with various functions across the organisation to strengthen operations and decision‑making while serving as the central data function. This traineeship offers hands‑on experience in analytics, data quality, and data process optimisation, with exposure to Microsoft Power Platform low‑code/no‑code capabilities. Responsibilities Work on 1 to 2 data analysis projects to identify trends, patterns and insights that inform resource allocation decisions. Collect and validate data from various operational sources to support the Data Hub implementation. Create dashboards using Microsoft Power BI to visualise operational metrics and performance indicators. Learn about business processes across various divisions and collaborate with senior team members to understand how data supports operational planning. Research and benchmark best practices in data management and operational planning. Qualifications Technical skills in MS Excel and basic familiarity with data analysis tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. Basic familiarity with data handling concepts and some exposure to programming languages such as Python or SQL through coursework or personal projects. Interest in emerging technologies including low‑code/no‑code platforms and willingness to learn Microsoft Power Platform. Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
