Senior Energy Storage Engineer

Overview Join to apply for the Senior Energy Storage Engineer role at Arup . We are seeking an experienced Senior Energy Storage Engineer to spearhead the development and delivery of energy storage projects in Singapore and across Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise in utility-scale energy storage systems (Battery, Flow or other technologies), a proven track record in project delivery, and strong leadership in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments. Responsibilities Lead the delivery of energy storage projects and tasks, focusing on the development, construction, and operation and maintenance phases. Provide technical guidance to juniors in the preparation of feasibility studies, design basis, specifications, and functional requirements for energy storage projects. Manage and deliver technical due diligence projects related to transactions of energy storage assets. Support team members in technical execution and problem-solving, fostering a culture of excellence. Qualifications Chartered Engineer (e.g., CPEng, CEng) with a degree in Engineering or related field. 5+ years of experience in the energy sector, with a strong focus on energy storage. Proven experience delivering renewables projects across APAC. Strong project management skills with experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
